The person we’re looking for
We’re looking for a Senior Design Researcher who brings prior experience in leading and managing design research projects, contributes to the development of research strategy, and provides mentorship to junior researchers.
Job Overview
You will be expected to lead the successful delivery of design research efforts for external and internal projects, working closely with our team of UX / UI designers, and mentoring a team of other researchers. As a key member in our design agency, you will be collaborating with clients and other researchers on large scale projects.
Some things you will be responsible for:
- Effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams, contributing your research expertise to guide and mentor junior researchers.
- Defining and executing research strategies across multiple streams of work and industries.
- Being an expert in a wide range of user research methods and being able to create innovative research strategies and methodologies.
- Designing and executing complex research studies.
- Analyzing data, recognizing patterns, and understanding user behavior based on data.
- Storytelling and influencing design decisions through research insights.
- Mentoring and training others in best practices in design research
- Setting research agendas and aligning them with business goals.
- Mastering research and analytics tools and adapting to new tools and technologies.
- Advocating for and maintaining the highest level of quality and rigor in all research efforts and deliverables.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in User Research or similar field.
- 6+ years of experience in a User Research role.
- Experience with user experience (UX) design principles.
- Experience working with Industrial Designers and/or Architects on physical design programs.
- Comfortable going beyond digital design to work on physical and experiential design projects.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving.
- Excellent communication.
- Comfortable working on multiple projects in a fast paced environment.
- Proactive and positive attitude.
- Active interest to learn and develop.
- Comfortable working with clients.
- Comfortable leading a time of other design researchers.
